BEACHES IN FLORIANOPOLIS

Located between Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires, Florianópolis was historically a strategic port for navigators. They feel at home, especially during the fall, when the winds die down and the island shows its most beautiful and romantic side. Santa Catarina Island continues to be a reference for sailors, receiving everyone from adventurers who navigate the ocean in sailboats to large Transatlantic luxury cruise ships that cross Southern Atlantic.

The city is also the ideal destination for sea and beach lovers. Inlets with calm, warm and transparent waters, framed by mountains covered with vegetation of the Atlantic Coastal Forest. Open-sea beaches, with large waves crashing against rocky coasts. Lively seaside resorts with complete tourism facilities and daytime and night time recreational programs during the summer.

Fishing villages on the edge of the sea, calm and reserved. In all, there are 100 beaches on the island and in the mainlad neighborhoods that comprise Florianópolis. MOst of them make you feel in paradise.
